ABOUT ME

Cleopatra Charles PhD is an Associate Professor of Public Administration. Her research focuses on financial management and fiscal policy issues that affect public organizations particularly related to fiscal slack, which incorporates debt management, revenue diversification, and revenue structure.

Her research is concentrated in two broad areas:  (1) state and local budgeting and financial management (2) nonprofit budgeting and financial management.
